Columbia Police Department officers had searched for Sims from the beginning of December however, they were unable find him. They took in Taylor Wardlaw and charged him with accessory after an incident that involved murder related to Sims the death of. A body was located near a creek off Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner, Naida Rutherford confirmed the body was that of Sims.
