Anamaria Marina is a Romanian actor. Her debut was on the large screen with Sex Traffic by Channel 4 and won the British Academy Television Award was awarded to the best actress. The actress speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian proficiently. The father of her mother was an actor and her mother was a violinist. She was in 2007 the lead role in the Romanian film 4 luni 3 saptamani si2 (4 months, 3 weeks, and 3 Weeks, 2 Days) which was directed composed by Cristian Mungiu. The film won two awards at Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). In addition, she appeared as an infant in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she was the character Yasim anwar in BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca had roles in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as also in the Romanian film Boogie. Later she as the role of Irma's German Aunt in Fury, which was released in 2014.
