Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14 years old. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. When she was 18, Ladd made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd went on an impressive 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent within the first round. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her in a unanimous decision, putting an ominous mark on her record in her amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by one-round TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She took the following match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen's superior wrestling skill defeated McGill, and she was able to end her fight in the third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round later in the 2nd. She continued her dominance and racked up an impressive victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd was victorious in the first round and was awarded the performance of the Night Bonus. Her first major fight came with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had an intense fight which Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her streak of winning. Following a brief break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a match that was a replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
